Monday was a trying day.  Mom finally got home and wanted to post and get in touch with people she met, at BlogPaws and we had no power.  There was a fire in the electrical wiring under ground and we had no power all day.  Con Ed does not have the fastest workers.  We couldn't use the MAC or cell because we had no wi fi.   It was scary using the stairs with only a flashlight.

I should be happy that Mom stayed home with me on Monday.  But, on Tuesday she had to go to jury duty and I thought that was wrong.

I'm very astute and I know when she is just getting dressed and when she's getting dressed to go out.  I knew she was going out - without me - so I stretched out in front of the door.
I tried to stop her from opening the front door.

I tried to stop her from opening the door but I'm only 20 lbs. and she was able to move me.   And she left me all day.   This is my unhappy/sad picture.

I'm sad and a little peeved.

She was home today catching up.  Good.  I hope she stays with me tomorrow.

Do you think if she could get me certified as a service or therapy dog I could go with her to jury duty?

    1. I think so too. She's my first priority; I should be hers.

    1. Me too. I needed the a/c, the alarm clock, and didn't want my food to spoil. All is well now.

  3. Jury duty is boring. I think its better for you just to stay home. Glad to see your mom is posting photos. It's been raining here too and our internet connection is on n off. Can't believe you plan to go to Vegas. We wont decided till the end of the year. Golden Woofs, Sugar

    1. Sorry about the rain and your internet connection. Boy, what did we do before we had all of these electronics. Maybe we visited people.

I really learned a lot at BlogPaws and thought since I wanted to go I took advantage of the special rate. With any luck I can use my frequent flyer miles.

P.S. I'm committed to posting pictures every time. Thanks for your encouragement.

  4. Wow what a trying day you had! But I bet mom had no fun at jury duty either, I know I wouldn't. I think I'd rather stay home. But did she do something fun with you when she got back?

Mom, good to see you posting photos. I'm not sure if I stressed the point or not, but people are more apt to click on your post if they see cute photos. Remember your watermarks or copyrights too. :-)

    1. You did in deed stressed photos in your session. It's ironic that when I finally committed to posting photos and posting more often, I had no access to my blog.

I have to review the "how to" watermark and copyright.

  7. I think becoming a therapy dog would be good therapy for both you and mom. What a good idea!

    1. I'm sorry I haven't visited. Somehow your e-mail notice ended up in something called NetworkedBlogs.

It's mom's fault we haven't been around. She wanted to post pictures and didn't know how to get them from her Smartphone to her MAC. Mom said, "You have to have a Smartphone to show you how dumb you are."

She figured it out and we are back.
She has new commitment to blogging since she came back from BlogPaws. More pictures of ME!
Now I'll catch up on your posts.
