Who Me!

Mom left me alone again to go to jury duty and when she came home she found this:

Me?
Me?

Who did that?
Bear, my stuffed bear was my favorite toy.  I carried him from room to room; I tossed him around; I slept with him in my bed.  Why would anyone destuff Bear?  I loved him.

Mom blamed me.  Even though I was lonely and bored, I wouldn't have hurt Bear.  Harvey, the six-foot-one, white rabbit, must have reappeared from the movie and did it.  He wanted to get me in trouble.

Luckily, mom thought so too.  She didn't get mad at me AND she didn't throw Bear away.
Whew!  Dodged a bullet on that one.

    1. Well, he better not come to my house again. Mom may not believe me if it happens again,

  3. Sometimes stuffies just spontaneously combust. We've had that happen. And that's our story and we're sticking to it.

  4. Thanks. That sounds good. If it happens again I'm using your story.

    1. http://thepoodleanddogblog.typepad.com/ says that when it happens at their house they tell mom it spontaneously combusted. I'm using that the next time.

  6. Your mum got it wrong. It was S.O.D (someotherdoggy) that came and visited you. He often comes and sees Me and Nellie. S.O.D is very fond of digging and knocking all mummy's plants over. Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

    1. You need a nanny cam and catch the S.O.D.

    1. She didn't. She sewed him up once and the "rabbit" ripped Bear again. Mom said she can't keep sewing him up. So now, Bear is still here with a little less stuffing.

The next time I get a stuffed animal, I'll put lettuce out and set a trap for Harvey.
