  2. Hi BJ, Nice to meet you. I got your message about the ramp. I use a Snoozer Scalloped ramp. You can see my review at
    http://www.pepperpom.com/2013/06/snoozer-scalloped-pet-ramp-product.html
The large ramp is 21 inches tall. I use it to get on the bed which is about 24 inches tall. The Scalloped ramp has humps so the incline is different than a flat ramp. With a flat ramp you need to make sure there is traction. The incline should not be more than 22 degrees. For the 29 inch height you mentioned, you would need a 7 to 8 foot long flat ramp at about 20 degrees. Or you could put the 21 inch scalloped ramp on a 4 to 6 inch platform to raise it, and use the platform as a starting step. the 21 inch tall scalloped ramp is 30 inches long, so the platform would need to be at least 36 inches long to also provide the first step. I hope this all helps.
    Hugs,
    Pepper

    1. Thank you for your help. You look as you were having fun following your Mom's cues and running up and down that ramp. It's expensive, but if it works for BJ, it's worth it. I noticed in one your pictures you have yours on platform. That's a good idea.
